The Wijmo widgets do not replace jQuery UI widgets, but rather they extend them to do more than the basic widgets do. Since both jQuery UI and Wijmo are built on top of the jQuery library, it is a good idea to learn some of the basic concepts of jQuery before you get started with Wijmo.
